Stick a Pork in It
"Every potluck has a precise pecking order. Aspiring Food Network stars rule the roost with elegant, eye-catching desserts; bottom feeders bring up the rear with napkins.
If you’re a Charmin connoisseur, call in some help from Truffle Pig Gourmet. The small, all-female company offers catering along with lessons in cooking and hosting successful soirees.
Mention favorite dishes or skills that need improvement, and the Truffle Pig team will dream up a menu (from cheese through dessert, with wine pairings). Like apron-adorned fairy godmothers, they’ll teach you the trick to anything from crisping duck skin to perfecting creme brulee to rolling pasta.
Hire the girls to prep a party or coach you in advance with a sheet of detailed instructions. They even offer advice on outfits (so cute).
So when party time rolls around, you’ll be top dog.
Which is reason enough to pig out."

"From the day we first discussed my housewarming party until the last
bacon-wrapped fig was hungrily gobbled up by my group, Truffle Pig
Gourmet was a wonderful planning partner for a highly successful
event. Head chef Jess Leonard clearly has a breadth of experience when
recommending a variety of menu choices and cuisine combinations, and
she certainly knows how to cook them! Jess is prompt with all service
requests, works effectively within time constraints, and has a great
working attitude. I would recommend Truffle Pig Gourmet highly to
anyone, and I plan on using them for my next group event -- at the
request of my guests from this past party!" -Marc J.
"Very few make their pasta from scratch when they decide to host a
ravioli dinner. Truffle Pig Gourmet does. Fresh, homemade, stuffed
ravioli, that were so delicate they melted in your mouth, were made in
an 8-course series that ranged from smoked salmon ravioli with dill
and a light silky saffron sauce to feta filled ravioli with pureed
bright red beets the color of fresh strawberries. If that was not
amazing and original enough, we were treated to baked ravioli filled
with nutella and topped with freshly whipped cream as a dessert.
Truly a masterful meal with creativity beyond that which you can find
at leading Italian restaurants in the DC metro area."
